These two legal qualifications are awarded for the successful completion of the mortgage repossessions/debt recovery (enforcement) courses run by Ashley Taylor Legal Training. Both courses are Institute Mandatory Courses (you have to successfully complete a Mandatory Course to be eligible to achieve Qualified Paralegal status with us) and each individual module of those courses has been designated an Approved Course by the Institute. Successfully completing an Approved Course fast-tracks Institute members from Registered Paralegal status to Certified Paralegal status.

LPQ Certificate in Advisory Practice

We issue this qualification to law students at the University of Portsmouth who have successfully completed their training to be Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer advisers and who have spend a substantial amount of time as volunteer advisers. This qualification is available to any other advisers in similar circumstances.

LPQ Introductory/Intermediate/Advanced Certificate in Paralegal Practice

We issue this qualification at three levels: introductory, intermediate and advanced. It is granted to those persons who have successfully shown that they can meet at least 95% of the Paralegal Competency Standards at the relevant level and who have successfully completed a home assignment. LPQ Certificate In Conveyancing Practice

We issue this qualification at one level. It is granted to those persons who have successfully shown that they can meet at least 95% of the Conveyancing Paralegal Competency Standards and who have successfully completed a home assignment.
