Professional Body Membership

Corporate membership is optional if you are a legal service provider regulated under the Legal Services Act 2007 (i.e. solicitors, barristers, trade mark agents, notaries, costs lawyers, patent agents legal executives, licensed conveyancers and SRA registered foreign lawyers). On-going membership is mandatory for everyone else as it is part of Checkaprofessional.com’s quality assurance requirements that make sure that potential customers have sufficient confidence to use Checkaprofessional.com to find a legal service provider.

Corporate members of the Institute need to comply with the Institute’s conditions of membership. The cost of annual membership is included in the £599 fee. Existing Institute members get 15 months membership of checkaprofessional for the price of 12 in year 1. Corporate membership of the Institute brings its own benefits.
