Individual Membership
Types of Membership
There are three types
of membership: UK, Hong Kong and international.
We have this distinction
because for UK members the titles Associate Paralegal,
Certified Paralegal and Qualified Paralegal are recognition
that persons awarded those titles have reached the required standard
of experience/qualification in the laws applicable in the United
Kingdom. For Hong Kong members the titles designate their Hong Kong
expertise. For International members the designations relate to
their own jurisdictions.
We need to distinguish
between the different types of expertise.
