The absence of mandatory or even nationally recognised qualifications can make it difficult for employers and clients to gauge a paralegal´s expertise, and for experienced paralegals to demonstrate it.

To help alleviate this problem, we are working with a number of national educational bodies to develop a nationally-recognised paralegal qualifications framework.

We have also introduced two professional qualifications: Certified Paralegal and Qualified Paralegal.
